Mirror printing.
printing a transfer reversed so it reads the right way after pressing
Printing the image flipped left to right onto transfer paper, so it reads correctly once it is pressed face down onto the blank. Sublimation depends on it, and Wasatch states the rule for its RIP flatly: every image must be mirrored, and hot folders can do it automatically. The Send to Sawgrass Print Utility driver enables Mirror by default for most sublimation workflows. The exception is a substrate read from behind: for reverse-side glass such as a glass cutting board, Sawgrass says you may need to turn mirroring off, because the image is seen through the glass. Otherwise the only question is who flips it, and the answer has to be exactly one stage: Printful prints its mug transfers in reverse in production, which is why a seller uploading to a platform sends the file the right way round. Mirror it in the file as well and the RIP flips it back, so every mug in the batch carries backwards text and goes in the bin with its transfer paper.
