Same Machine, Two Numbers.
What was actually new at PRINTING United in Las Vegas?
The question: What was actually new at PRINTING United in Las Vegas?
Stahls rates its Carousel at up to 300 garments an hour on the product page and 300 to 400 on the stand. Most of what was shown in Las Vegas was announced earlier, the apparel machines with numbers were presses, and every maker counts a different unit. Plus a verdict update and two corrections of our own.
Show notes and sources
One machine, two numbers
The Hotronix Carousel has 6 stations and 3 heat zones, and its product page says up to 300 garments an hour. On the stand, the director of product marketing told a reporter 300 to 400.
Announced before the show
Kornit unveiled the Atlas MATRIX on 12 April 2026; Las Vegas was its North American trade-show debut, with a neon ink configuration. Brother's GTX300 was introduced on 17 July 2026. Roland's RC-300 was announced on 1 September 2026.
Unveiled at the show
The Vanguard Cumberland flatbed is described as unveiled at PRINTING United, with "up to 6,588 sq. ft./hr." and no print mode stated.
The press, not the printer
Impressions argued on 22 September 2026 that transfer application is the bottleneck in high-volume DTF. M&R's ORBITER counts "more than 360 transfers per hour under optimal conditions". ROQ's ID Press counts "500+ pieces per hour". Stahls counts garments.
Verdict 88: Enfocus, up to 50%
Enfocus says true-shape nesting and gang-run printing cut material costs by up to 50%. The page says material costs in those words. Partly true in September, Confirmed on 8 October 2026: confirmed that Enfocus says it, not that a shop will save it.
Our corrections
Konica Minolta's Embellishment Forge is software, not a finishing system (Pulse, 29 September). The Kama machine is the Profoil 76, not the ProCut 76 (Pulse, 2 September). Both pages carry a dated correction.
