Adobe RGB (1998).

a wide-gamut RGB colour space, wider than sRGB

An RGB colour space with a wider gamut than sRGB, used by photographers and some fine-art labs. The same pixel values mean different colours in the two spaces, so the embedded profile decides what prints. Platforms mostly refuse it: Printful says RGB spaces other than sRGB, such as Adobe RGB or ProPhoto RGB, can cause unexpected color shifts, and ArtStation says Adobe RGB may make printed colours look dull next to the screen. Labs that drive their own printers can want it instead: SAIC's print bureau asks for Adobe RGB 1998. Keep the wide master for the lab that asks, and export an sRGB copy for every platform that names sRGB, because the mismatch never shows on the uploader's monitor.
