Glossary → Print provider
Print provider.
the factory a POD network routes an order to
The shop that actually prints and ships the order in a network model, and the reason two identical-looking listings behave differently. Printify's catalog spells out what separates one provider from another: location, product pricing, shipping rates and methods, available colors and sizes, print area dimensions, packaging extras, and the printing equipment itself. Even on the same blank with the same technology, each provider has tuned its own color output, so a design signed off on one is not signed off on all of them. Printify ranks every provider 0 to 10 with a Performance Score rebuilt weekly from quality complaints, on-time shipping and sample feedback. Sellers choose on price and ship-from country, order one sample, and never sample the second provider they later switch to. That is the shop that learns about a color shift from a buyer photo.
