Printful's print file content policy asks uploaders to confirm they hold the rights to use, sell, and distribute the content — not that they own a registrable copyright in it — so uncopyrightable material does not by itself make that warranty impossible to honour. The Copyright Office's March 16, 2023 statement of policy (88 FR 16190) speaks only to examination and registration practice, e.g. the Zarya of the Dawn conclusion that the Midjourney-generated images could not be protected by copyright; it says nothing about platform upload warranties. Source 2 is the better authority on copyrightability and Source 1 on the warranty's wording, and neither states the claimed conclusion.
