“Tajima's i-TM automated tensioning system eliminates test runs on the embroidery machine”

Tajima, the manufacturer, states only that trial sewing and adjustment time "can be reduced" — not eliminated — and attributes the effect to i-TM working together with the Digitally Controlled Presser foot (DCP), not to i-TM alone. The stronger wording "eliminate test runs" appears only in Source 1, a Hirsch Solutions distributor press release, which also softens its own claim elsewhere to "virtually eliminating manual tensioning." Source 2 is the better authority as the OEM's own product documentation, and its footnote zeroes out only upper-thread adjustment man-hours, not test runs.

The span it rests on

The time required for trial sewing and adjustment can be reduced, and the speed can be increased
