“For DTF printing, 300 DPI at the final print size is the minimum requirement for sharp output.”
Copied
Transfer Superstars states the 300 DPI minimum at final print size in exactly these words, and its worked examples add up (4 in × 300 DPI = 1,200 px). It is that shop's requirement, not an industry floor. Printful's help centre recommends at least 300 DPI for its DTFlex products, which agrees, while its 2024 DTFlex blog still says 150 to 300 DPI, and other DTF shops in our DTF guide accept 150. The figure is a common and safe target; calling it the minimum for DTF printing overstates it.
