“The Digital Product Passport (DPP) will be mandatory for textiles from 2026/2027.”

The Commission’s working plan COM(2025) 187 lists Textiles/Apparel in a column headed “Indicative timeline for adoption” against the year 2027. That is the date the delegated act is adopted, not the date anyone has to comply. Article 4(4) of ESPR then says the date of application “shall not be earlier than 18 months from its entry into force, except in duly justified cases”.
